Mark Bland

Marc Allen Bland lives in Oakland, California. I have been shooting for several years now and taught myself most of everything I know. I have taken a few classes over time, but I started out doing visual art. I loved to draw and craft when I was little, but as technology became more tangible, I began doing more graphic work. I played with photo-manipulation and made graphic collages and advertisements with pictures I found on the internet. When i was 16, my teacher suggested that, instead of using pictures that were not my own, I should take up photography. I fell in love with photography after that, and adapted a strong interest  in fashion. I am greatly inspired by color. Being a visual artist at heart, I hope to emulate a certain artistic and eclectic style in my photography.
